Others are therapist or coaches and want to incorporate horses into their existing practice and need to build horse skills. By teaching this work one-on-one (or in small customized groups) we are able to personalized each program. The same curriculum training is customized to your needs while integrating all the essential elements to build a sound format for future sessions and programs or enhance the current programs you may be doing. In this small format, we move quickly through the portions where skills are strong and spend more time in areas that need more practice and understanding. In this course we examine the nature and language of the horse. By understanding the universal language of horses, we build connection with our horses as a herd-mate, leader, and colleague. By focusing on the fundamentals of how to “read” the horse’s relational behaviors and engage with horses in a way that the horse understands, we create trust, understanding and a true bond. All Equusatori programs are based on this language and have incorporated current scientific studies and best practices. This program not only helps equine professionals understand the horses they work with, but help create safe horse-human interactions that support EAL and EAP. The course includes: Learning to identify, understand and work with the fundamental relational behaviors of horses and develop a clear understanding of the energetic components in these relational behaviors. Through this process, you will identify and connect with your own inner sense of presence and discover how horses interpret and respond to presence, awareness and intention in others. We explore the science of coherence, HRV, the electromagnetic field environment, and how our heart-field energetics effects the horses-human connection. In addition you will learn how this connection, expands subtle awareness, lowers stress, and contributes to a healthy autonomic nervous system in both horse and human. We examine a number of horse-human interactions and discuss how to build curriculum that makes sense to both horse and human. Learn which interactions have the most positive effect on the human’s autonomic nervous system and which interactions are neutral or positive for the horse. This course will help you communicate with more clarity with all horses. You will understand your horses as colleagues and create better matches between horses and clients.
